Hello, I just found out that there is a new class in rohan. Used to play it few years ago. Question is: Is this game worth playing as f2p?
You will need to charge at some point or should I say multiple points in the game.
As f2p, nope not worth to play.
f2p but p2w. But with the new race, I think it's worth it. There's nothing wrong if you will try it ^,...,^
They should really put every item mall item to the game. Make a 0.1% boss drop rate for item mall items or i don't care. But a game with this heavy P2W system in 2015 = dead. No one will download this game if they keep hearing its P2W.
Without the mighty Latvala, the game is lost
Not worth to come back.......new race op .........
I guess since you are interested in the new race, then it means that the game for you is still worth playing. But all of us still needs to cope up with all the changes in comparison to what has been presented to us since it was launched. Kind of annoying but still enjoyable (for me).
I will let him answer that one - he loves to praise himself. (you might be sorry you asked) ;)
This game is screwed no matter where you turn. PvP is all P2W, and classes are horribly imbalanced. Templars are the dominant class like they've been since 2008.
When it comes to farming, there's no use. Nobody buys armor parts, and especially weapon parts because of the new upgrades. There's no reason to spend weeks farming a few hundred million crone, when people are selling billions of crones from the Phillipines at less than 1k RPS.
You're either going to spend the entirety of your in-game time farming for chump change, or spend hundreds of USD to be decent in a crappy pvp experience. (Spending hundreds of dollars on a Templar just to play whack-a-mole).
So if you ask me, NO. This game is definitely NOT worth getting back into, even if you were the richest person in the world.
Actually the Trinity Noirs are starting to make the templars look like chumps.
It will take a few months of experimenting with stats and builds to find out what the best combination is for these classes in pve or pvp situations. They are just a little too new to make any kind of educated recommendation on them yet.
At the moment the Rumir & Noir classes appear almost a parallel to the Priest & Templar classes. Both of the trinity classes seem to have skills wired to use str and psy. Rumirs lean more to the psy (skills) side of things while Noirs are more str (melee) dependent. Both classes can use both stats, just how you balance them are where you see differences in usages.
For Noirs, anything that boosts melee and attack speed is a major plus. Also get your HP up over 100k cause you are gonna get 1/2-shotted really fast if your shields runs out (20 miserable seconds? Gimme a break!). Beyond that I think all of us rolling one of these will have fun of experimenting with all the different build & gearing possibilities.
You know, there really is no reason you can't make a Noir character yourself and build / learn it. I mean half the fun is trying out new things for yourself.
Go ahead, make a character and play it. Trinity classes are the cheapest to play at the moment. No reason you can't make one and play it while you are waiting for experiences of others.
Just don't expect the experience or damage boosts you see in the tutorial anywhere else in the game.
