Rediculous new weapons on merge server (RAN and JIN)

Look at this announcement: Ran & Jin - New Equipment
In the near future we will be making available equipment similar to Upgrades, however not as strong as what it was previously introduced and at a very reduced price. We feel this is a step we have to take for Ran and Jin as there are already items in the game [Epics & Upgrades] that all players cannot currently obtain.

The Items will be available on a monthly basis only for Ran and Jin and we will notify users about all the items that will arrive prior to being released.
We are also considering making these items part of our rewards systems such as Achievement System, in-game events, Major Battle Systems, Rohanopoly [If released in the future] but all details of this will be announced at a later date.

Where did u find info that epics upg weps will be changed to there new ones? it just say new weps will be released but NOT that powerful as epics/upg. Solution: first sell upgraded parts or weapons equal to epics/ upgraded weps etc
second ppl who are from Jin should be able to trade in there opaniels/talis weapons as as a reward get similar weapon to upg/epics

No epics/upgs will NOT be changed into new weapons with lower options its actually NEW WEAPONS being sold with LOWER OPTIONS than the upgrades. They are considering making different ways to get the upg like acheivement points events poly scratch card etc.


All they are doing is making upgs for people to buy that wont break the game and make it impossible to obtain. By having it earn-able through achievement points and events etc what they are doing is giving people more than one way to get one. They can buy it with charged rps, buy it with ecash,earn through events, earn through acheivement points. I think this monthly sale thing is going to help as well since ballers will just buy a new set to try again for max DD and slowly all the ones that are not will trickle down in price so people can buy them.

Who's going to buy them? Its a piss poor idea with piss poor implementation. They should boost every piece of gear on Jin +6 up to a max of +18 to compensate us for having forged and reinforced all of our gear with lower rates. In addition, rather then make all of our gear GARBAGE they should make the new "upgrades" be a stone you throw in the recycle system with a glacial to add 15 crit, 15dd, 90% hp, 50allstats, and 20ias. At least then its something we can add to the gear we spent so much time, effort, and money into creating rather then have them tell us "hey guys we know you played on Jin to get away from epics/upgs, but now we're merging you back into them and making all your gear second rate worthless garbage"

Kenshine...if your a Jin player...are you going to be buying them? I can assure you, as a Jin player, I won't be. I've been a loyal player on the official server for years, but it looks like its finally time to go start playing on pservers. I'm not giving another dime to this company if they want to jam it up my ass without giving me a reach around because they're too busy trying to steal my wallet instead.

The current upgrades are mostly fine I mean there are only 4 71% dd maces owned by 3 people. People are getting hung up on the lower rate its because of shiny option stones (which give a tighter and higher range than the old option stones). At the end of the day what you will get is an upgrade thats just the same as all the others maybe less HP maybe less DD maybe more DD and most importantly for a LOT LESS than what people paid for those 4 pt upgrades (especially if they do it the way I suggested ages ago).

the questions is still why Jin ppl will have to pay to get new weps , they did that to get talis/opaniel, they need make new weps more op then epics/upg then ,so all have to pay !

Old upgrades have 6% dd per part aka 24% dd extra (with shinys thats 69%-82% dd LMAO)

If the new upgrades have 6% per part but are in 2 parts aka 12% extra that would be 57% dd-70% dd which is more than fair thats already above average.

It will be a travesty if the new weapons they are going to sell can not get a perfect dd roll at least equal to the currently highest dd weapon.

The best option is for playwith to just take your crafted weapon away and give you a 30% discount on the new weapon. You would have to qualify for it tho like a tali +0 would not be qualified and all chimeras would not be qualified but the PH "extreme" club would qualify etc. Its hard to determine but that would be the best approach IMO.

Because somebody would have to work to make those spirit stones and it is easier to give you a discount on the new weapon. I also dont think permanent spirit stones can be made they might have to take that to korea which means it would take months.

Just switch the duration to 10 years, problem solved, no korea involved.

I got a feeling the duration for spirit stones is stored in seconds so it would depend on the size of the register. The max duration could be only 90 days for example.

I worry about these Glacial weapons and armors from PH server. THEY ARE STRONGER x10 than upg epic weapons. A PH glacial club with 65% magic and 65% melee, 30% crit....... . What do you think about these EDITTED ITEMS from PH? Give your opinions.

Because you dont understand programming its not cut some lines of code out it would be adding lines of code in or like I said before increasing the memory space allocated for duration. Or adding attributes to the spirit stone objects to signal it is permanent. There are many ways to get the same outcome but removing lines would only mess up the interaction between other stones covered by the spirit stone object.

And a discount is still the best way to go because it fits the most players.

If you have a tali +6 why should you get the weapon for free?

If you have a chimera +14 which came from the chimera boost event why should you get the weapon for free?

If you have an opaniel +18 why should you get the same discount as the above 2 cases?

The discount can scale based on how far above the average your weapon is. Weapons that are below average will get a lower discount than weapons that are higher than the average this prevents players from flooding support with qq about their tali +6s or ferkhans +0.

So now what are we expecting to know the differences of rate and unfairness from merging? RAN, JIN, and PH server have different items and different money paid on them but we will get the same items on the merged server. I mean feathers+++ on RAN # on JIN # on PH. The items on PH server are very cheap to spend on.

if jin and ran are going to merge.. are ran people going to be compensated also?? these PH people effect jin right now.. but once merged its going to effect ran also.

edit.. also when my perma mount guna be given from nopoly along with other leaderboard prizes :) ( the post above mine made me think about perma mount)

No but, real talk, while I know I won't come back playing this game (I've almost sold everything to different players and I'd have to spend a lot to get geared again) I assure you that almost all the Jin players spent way more in crafted weapons than purchasing epics/upgrades.

With the new weapons being introduced, they're completely worthless, and I even doubt -if people are willing to spend again to try getting that reinforcement level- that a +18 competes with epics/upgrades/PH weapons. I hardly doubt people are going to buy those new weapons unless they're not "expensive". And when I mean, not expensive, you know what I mean.

PH users are also allocated in Ran however the current equipment in Ran is just about as powerful or less powerful that the current equipment in Ran.
Jin players on the other hand, have quite the large disadvantage having no real boost in forging/refinement no epic or upgrade equipment.

The current "compensation" plan is almost finished and it aims to address the current status of the equipment they possess.
This will only be for active Jin players that did not come from the Philippine server merge.
So players in Jin who did not migrate their characters or submitted the Philippine form will be in for a compensation plan.
No, it's not a permanent costume, no it's not a permanent mount. Current plan is almost finished as said and what the compensation will be is going to be announced soon.

if thats the case then why yall take off 55 ALL attack stones? they were tooo op.... but now u allow 65/65? and when was the last time the 4th part of the upgs were sold. like 3 years ago? shudnt allow 65/65 here if u wouldnt allow 55/55. doesnt make sense. if not going to reduce the PH weapons stats. then atleast bring back 55 stones.

Better drop rates maybe, but an awful forge rate. You had to spend tons on preservation stones, with a 1/10 success rate on glacials on weekend "boost". And the boss accessories droprate isn't even "boosted", it was almost the same droprate as Ran at the end of the year.

While we maybe had a better droprate, once you got your max parts the droprate doesn't help at all. Getting max parts isn't easier than on Ran, considering the numbers are totally random. You could end with 4 full bags with crap at the end of the day, and getting one max part out of 3 days of farming.

Therefore, once you got your max parts, all you had to do was to spend in pres stones for glacials, and believe me, it actually did cost a lot.

Epic weapon is 45DD, 15%crit, 100% Health, 15% Health and mana absorbtion, +100/+50/+50, 35% mobility, 20% attack speed, 60% Attack force. (fenatti ray)
PH Weapon is : 50%DD 30%crit 63% Health, 125 int str vit, 65% magic 65% melee (glacial)


Note also the epic/upg are one rank below glacial. Base damage of glacials is almost the double. I wonder what it's going to be if I ever get my hands on a PH weapon and I use 50% scrolls + absolute set +18.

1 more question, should i get all my gears on 1 acc for you to decide if im eligible to get any compensation, or it won't matter?

totally understand your point of view. im just QQing about the 65/65 mainly tho(wasnt there like 30 crit on there also?). we all have alot invested in this game for many years.. kinda screwed up for a spinoff of here (rohanPH) that cudnt make it to send there players here with gear better than ours and own servers. duno if that will happen ( own servers will have to wait and see). A few pts of PH templars in 65/65 vs the pro's from ran shud be an aswome pvp for first few hrs after merge. but 65/65/30crit is guna be a bitch..

maybe gm shud offer people with epics/upg a trade-in for a PH 65/65/30 ph weapon. or gms cud just take off the 65 magic from there weapons. before gm says ran gear better ( epics/upg ) ... has the gm actually created a 4x mace with 4x int ... and a PH mace 125/125 65 /65 /30 and actually TEST with a 115+10 templar all 7's emp 7 and guild buffs. if you (GM) have not tested then you have no basis for your statement.

As I went to see again the PH stats, I wonder if there are any PH swords with those stats
