Live Talisman Feedback.

Now that the talismans are live on the event server and we have had a week's worth of testing we wanted to see what the feedback regarding the talisman are.

Here are the stats of the talismans for each race and class.

Human:

So I just made dragon sage with that talisman:
defense: 800 - totally crap
HP- 8k - just another booster and it's helpful
Intelligence - 350 - what is it for? Magical classes do not exist here anymore because of high magical resistance and skill defense
dexterity - 150 - for what dragon sage needs dex? There should be vitality here instead pf dexterity

So to sum it, defense is useless it does not give anything at all, just a sign "you have gained 800 defense", it does not affect melee/range/magic, nothing, simply only an inscription.

WTB 115 ranger +10
WTB 72% dd xbow (dont give me that stat cap at 60% **** I want it because its rare)

The B is origional stats


PR_C_Talisman (Priest Talisman)
Defense +900, HP + 12000, Psyche +300, Intelligence +250

(Priest) should have the 250 intelligence removed and add like 200 vit, they dont need intelligence, just give them a little more vit so they can tank hits better and support heal.


GA_C_Talisman (Guardian Talisman)
Defense +1000, HP + 10000, Strength +350, Dexterity +200

(Guardian) Give it 300 str and 250-300 dex, so people can decide whether they want to make their charactr dex or str, both will be viable with the talisman


TE_C_Talisman (Templar Talisman)
+800 Defense, + 7000 HP, +2000 MP, +200 Psyche

(Templar) 100 psy instead of 200 psy, they dont need to get more tanky than they already are.


DK_C_Talisman (Dragon Knight Talisman)
+800 Defense, +8000 HP, +350 Strength, +150 Dexterity

(Dragon Knight) 5-6k hp instead of 8k (you cant test this talisman on the event server because there are no HP zhens....) also increase it to 300 dex instead of 150. boost the str build so it will actually become viable...


DS_C_Talisman (Dragon Sage Talisman)
+800 Defense, +8000 HP, +350 Intelligence, +150 Dexterity

(Dragon Sage) 5-6k hp instead of 8k hp (you cant test this talisman on the event server because there are no HP zhens....) also add 250 str and make it 250 dex (yes there are people who play Str sages to farm so why not help em out as well...)

I would suggest, now that Humans have only one stat per weap and dual wield is not going to be that good as it was, Make Def and Guard Talisman obtainable by both classes lets say i want a str defender i want to hit hard and survive i take the Defender talisman or if i want to just hit hard and maybe crit to i take the guard talisman, same for guard let them choose if they want to tank more Def tali or hit harder Guard tali.

HalfElfs Scouts need more Dex and ranged if possible the additional 1k def is not bad but the damage im doing is not that noticeable, i do crit kind of hard with skill Arrows. Rangers are meh ok 350dex is kind of a lot but welll nothing to complain about without their wing foot they are just a slow ass dead half elf (Kind of like scouts :/ )

Dhans Pred and Avenger talis... ok why more str for avenger they already hit hard as hell they shoul be like templars no main stat at all. The agi addition is not bad for both str and agi avengers. For Pred the talisman is perfect soo far but rather than giving agi give vit so they can tank better and make avenger talisman be obtainable by preds lets say i want to go agi pred i take the avenger talisman or i want to go str i take the normal pred talisman. (Avenger doesn't need more str so taking more str for it is out of the question).

Dark Elfs same story if i want to make an int wizard i take the warlock talisman or i want to play normal wizard i take the wizard talisman. It will all be about what build i want to play same with Dragon Knight and Dragon Sage. I want Str Sage i go with DK talisman or i want to play int DK i go with Sage talisman. Remember not all builds are supposed to be one stat oriented only.

Giants Savage Talisman is one of the best improvements so far seen in these talismans they need it and fast. Same with Berserker best talisman so far.

Priests Talisman is kind of ok i dont know if it needs more vit or giving the same amount of Psy and Int is going to solve anything but Priests need a lil more love to that talisman.

The more tanky are the classes fixed here the better and more challenging the game becomes. Remember that a lot of people are used to 1 shot their targets and are going to cry if they dont see their main stats on the talisman (Tamplars and Avangers). These 2 classes dont need more damage, they are good how they are. I would have said Ranger to but rangers are not that OP if you stun and hit them their WF is all they need so no need to fix anything on them 350 more dex is ok.
Another thing is make this talismans stats not too official lets say if a class becomes too op in the future with these talismans make them fix it talisman wise if its the talisman, as we all know they are meant to be a PvP balance fix for this version of Rohan.

Umm really? I got one. Just cuz they aren't popular doesn't mean they're not played. Maybe instead of insisting that they aren't viable and there shouldn't be int on the tailsman. You should be suggesting that it has more int or Magic att on it, to make them more PvP oriented again.

I like how people whine that tailsmans don't have such and such a stat.


THE POINT IS TO BALANCE CLASSES, NOT MAKE THE OP'D ONES EVEN STRONGER. SO QUIT ASKING FOR VIT ON DEKANS AND INT ON TEMPLARS.

These are all pretty nice if your playing **** class vs **** class but the second you throw a templar into the mix these = meaningless. When is the blunt mastery nerf coming?

I think avengers should have predator talismans, because of the fact that on RAN server they have upgrades, and on both servers they have sd armors. That's beside people don't really have +18 beze with set effects, or +18 abso.

lol wait so the overpowered dhan should have the talisman that makes the less overpowered class strong because they have a problem killing people on ran with good gear? Sorry to break your heart avengers with mediocre gear are killing max geared players with ease.


And I see people complaining about guardian/def talisman but dont want to complain about the stat cap that destroyed the class? Because they dont own a guard or a def

That doesn't happen unless the templar is fully debuffed, so yeh the dhan would be killed even before he takes down half of the templar's hp, that's beside avengers wont do **** if their str/alm got debuffed which proly will happen if they decided to face a templar. 60dd, sup?
And yes i'm talking about temps since nobody plays other characters. So unless u like to be a sz dhan who goes out to dpp then back again to his sz because he is afraid of getting debuffed, then yeh sure np.

And no, storm assault is useless at the moment you get debuffed because the time u will take to rebuff your self, the templar will be having another debuff rdy .

Why are you trying to talk balance with ShadowAce? She's the one that talks about how only godly templars are good and weak ones only hit 5ks...even though you'd have to insanely ****ing ridiculous gear on any other toon to hit a 5k regular. But you know...if you had gear of that caliber you'd just put it on a templar and be doing 90k regulars lol.

But in a strange twist of fate, I do agree with her point on the dhan talismans. If people had to rank builds from most OP to least OP str avengers would be pretty high up on the list. I'd rather see talismans boost things high up on the list less, and things further down the list more. But again...if they won't nerf blunt mastery its all pointless...really don't matter if a str defender fighting an agi avenger is a more fun matchup after the talismans are implemented, because a templar could just come over and crush them both in a couple swings anyhow.

Debuff is not a big deal and if you derp on your dhan yeah ur gonna get debuffed and raped but its a class that relies on the element of surprise. Oh and FYI I kill 60% dd temps with my AGILITY dhan as long as you dont derp its easy now picture how much easier it is for a str dhan who has 2 burst damage abilities instead of having to slash people with my dagger. And best part is this is with my agi dhan not using invenom because of SD. Which isnt a problem for str dhans either theres nothing wrong with dhans you are delusional.


People qq oh ShadowAce is a templar supporter blablabla I own almost every class (**** the beserkers/dekans and I shoulda made a scout). All that I do is protect templars from circlejerk nerf talks that spoil the game. Take a look at reddit for any popular game and you will see why circlejerk nerf talks are bad.

Must be some massively undergeared, stupid temps you killed. Or afk people running hunter kits. One debuff could easily make you have to stop and rebuff if you want to put any dps out, considering your crit skill getting debuffed means your damage is poop, and in the time you stop to debuff you just get cc'd and dead.

Lol...great argument. People on reddit talking about nerfs in general make templars swinging 30k+ regulars and 100k+ shield strikes balanced. Oh wait...weren't you one of the ones bitching about spirit stones when they released the ridiculous OP version...why was nerfing those a good move, I thought you were anti-nerf?

You crack me up though...your too stupid to realize that even on Ran templar damage is scaling faster then any other class. Another stat inflation update or two and upgrade templars will be hitting more like craft templars are now, and craft templars are going to be killing upgrade users in 2-3 regulars like they kill everyone on Jin now.

Lol only 3? just cuz there's not many upg magic zhens, doesn't mean there aren't Glacial ones. Granted they aren't great atm, til that fkn option stat cap gets lifted, which Atzigan is claiming will happen soon. But I've personally made a 67% and 68% magic zhen, I know there's quite a few out there. Hell I was even talking someone leveling up an int dekan yesterday. I mean if that's how you look at all classes then we might as well delete half of them, like scouts, zerkers, dex guards, str defs. Let's everyone all play Temps now, cuz that's the "in" thing to do I guess.

If that's all your hitting, then you're doing something seriously wrong. On non-upg users who have Heroic I hit at least 5k drains, and my dekan atm is only 105, my breath was 3kish. And before you scream how low that is, that was lv 6 buffs. I wasn't even fully geared on it. Heck alot of the top temps have Talis maces now, so they don't have all that extra hp/dd that comes from Upgs. Guess we should just give up on them like you said, right? Imo if ynk just tweeked Breath so it wasn't affected by pdef, they'd be alot more viable in PvP.

Btw damage of Breath/Hdrain on ppl under 101 = to around 30-40k with each skill, and again wasn't full buffed. Just throwing that out there. So yeah not completely useless class, you could have alot of fun trolling lowbies w/ them. Not to mention with the Range on Breath, you can hit someone with it a mile away :D

get debuffed? shadow sprint seal yourself and buff back up. Its a class that can run off self buff+alm I dont see what the big deal is. Avengers are not meant to be a frontline dps like a templar or humans (RIP :( ) people are complaining that they cant derp with their class like they can with a templar not because templars are stronger than their class.

Its not about that its about people just repeating what they hear from other people without actually playing the game. I was in game today in fact pvped 12 temps only 1 hit over 15k. None of them killed me and I hit them anywhere from 12-18k does not look as imbalanced as you make it out to be. And before you talk whatever you want to say these ppl were in PIM costumes and +12s at the minimum some with 18s. I will never take any balance talk from you seriously because jin is just ****ed up plain and simple. My server operates just fine and we got glacial chars everywhere and they dont complain one bit.

There is a difference between doing dmg and killing someone.

Ps: aren't you soul something ? Yeh you have died many times, and it was so easy for these temps.

In my opinion, there shouldn't be any strength in the Avenger Talisman at all.

Storm Assault is OP enough even without the Talisman. That, plus DPP is strong enough to kill almost any other class. Adding an extra 200 Strength will only make it more OP. I just feel like Predators can't keep up with Avengers yenno.

That's what happen when you flood the game with Pure Attack, Heroic Power makes it even worse, then you have the OP Critical Blow Scrolls on top of that. It makes pvp favor races with powerful sudden attack. Back when people were using 51's, there were good reasons in group pvp to pick a Str Guardian over a Str Dhan. A bit more Pdef, more HP, Block Rate or more DD from your dagger. The Str Dhan could kill fast, but was squishy. The Guardian took some time to kill, but he could survive long enough to wreak absolute havoc with OS.........

..... fast forward 4-5 years later, and defense does not matter at all. When everybody has over 1k pure Attack, and Heroic Power, your higher HP, Pdef, and DD means nothing. Asking the question, "Would you rather have a Ranger or a Guardian"?, is like asking "Would you rather go into a war zone with paper armor, or plastic armor? It doesn't matter what you pick, if you get hit, you'll be f'ed up.

It's like the scene from The Hurt Locker, where Sgt. William James is handling that car with a ****-ton of bombs inside. He knows that if they explode, he'd be turned into a meaty mist, even with his bomb suit, so he just takes the suit off so he's much more quick and maneuverable, so that if something goes wrong, he has a chance to quickly run away and survive.

Your only hope is to remove Pure Attack from all things except weapons, and fix Heroic Power so that equal levels counteract each other. Until then, you people are screwed.

That's why I said you'd get cc'd. Those templars...the ones you always act like have no skills in their arsenals other than blunt mastery and reflect...they have multiple ranged cc skills, and once they get on top of you, you won't live long enough to do anything.

To reduce the magic damage you take you can do any combination of the following:

A) Get glacial armour and reinforce it (on jin it should be +8 and up and on ran it should be +11 and up)
B) Get higher DD weapons
C) Get all stat items (Talismans, costumes, rings etc) that will increase your psy. Every point in psy gives you 1 mdef so having lets say after IM stuff and all stat rings you have 400+psy thats 4xx mdef.
D) Mdef scroll (you can get 5% ingame using kalista fragments or you can buy on the IM.)

Dual statted armours are also an option but I dont bother with them.

Shadow isn't exactly a bookworm when it comes to this game's mechanics, you know. Even with the class she plays. It doesn't matter though, anyway, the mound of crap you people are faced with is stacked all the way up to the Thermosphere, and your tools are plastic spoons.

shadow? sprint away then seal. If they already used debuff like you said in the scenario then getting cced is out of the question once you get shadow up. If there is some duo or trio and you get netbinded thats not a class imbalance problem.

PA buff on that temp dont be silly theres no templar that hits 60k outside of PA on ran. Go onto ran server and ask all the glacial chars in big guilds how much does the average templar hit you for and if they have a chance to react and they will say anywhere from 10-12k and yes they do. Not all classes were meant to be the same either so the fact that another toon with the same gear would hit 3-4ks doesnt bother me especially when you have OS or Storm assault or superior lockdown or more utility. Templars hit harder before too did that stop imba and friends from making dhans and guardians and rangers? nop did tom stop playing his ranger because templars are too strong? did lucas give up on his guardian because templars are stronger (before the stat cap) nop. There is nothing wrong with templars or other classes theres something wrong with the mentality of the average player who wouldnt dare rise to the challenge of playing another class. This talisman was intended to bring other classes closer to templar not to skew the sense of pvp balance because the game is balanced every class has a place in a pvp if you know how to play. The only exception to this is mages because people have too much hp for damage over time skills to kill anyone and their burst damage is nonexistant. Even SPP played a fking ranger in pvp and thats with almost all the OP gear we have now (he left after stat cap). Are you telling me you are worse at this game than SPP?
