You talk about other games as if they do not require money. I've been playing rohan for 10 year. Say I'd have done that with WOW (which requires a monthly payment of say 12 euros) that would be 10 years * 12 months * 12 euros. This equals 1500 euros, I have not spend anywhere near that amount on rohan.
''You better suck it up and learn from your mistakes or (like most players here) make the same mistake over and over again till you quit the game out of frustration''
I said this for a reason, people do not learn, PWI/YNK has been the same since the release of this game. If people would have any brains at all they would understand their business approach to this game as well as how they manage it, how they release updates and what can be expected. Somehow 90% of the players seem to fall for the same things/tricks over and over again, after which they rage and either quit or think ''this won't happen to me next time'' but oh it will so they rage again, or quit.
So honestly, I don't feel sorry for people who knowingly spent thousands of dollars over a few years time while knowing their items will get absolete some day due to updates. Same as one day rohan will go down and every pixel in it will be lost. It's a game not a real life investment (and even those oftenly go up in smoke)
I'm living proof that with making smart choices and very few $ you can reach endgame gear, items, lvl etc on multiple chars on different servers. If I can, others can do so too.
PS: Isen has been a worse money grab than jainus from the start, making your items in tiers to +12 each time requires you to spend $ on ARS/Abrants every time, wasting tonns of cash in the process. Combined with the fact that people only played ISEN a couple of months to farm, sell, make ecash and quit leaving all the ''dumb'' people behind. Forced into a small community with barerly anything available in shops or on the EM, forces you to buy everything with $ from the IM.
Jainus on the other hand has/had way more players, items, larger EM and so on, making it very well possible to farm stuff, sell/buy and merch to make ecash and consecutively use that to get better gear which makes you able to farm better/fast and make more money. Creating a positive spiral which in the end can make you end up with 100k of ecash no problem.
When I left ISEN I have explained why the server was **** and also why I quit. I've been working on Jainus from that day since and have a whole lotta ecash saved up for dire times. Too bad if you didn't think it through like I did and now reap what you sow (which isn't much)
