So you're saying while equiping a katar AGI adds to its total crit base damage? so if your agi dhan has 4000 total agi for example when critical strikes always +4000 as critical damage bonus?, is that what you implied? (disable the deadly blow first to disregard since deadly blow somewhat inflates total critical damage in %) but if we consider deadly blow that +4000 bonus crit damage from 4000 AGI will become 84K of critical damage because deadly blow boost 2000% of critical damage in lvl 7 (this is why makes Dhan so OP) + (1/4 for invenom = 21K invenom) if we disregard the base melee attack, only AGi applied to see the point of view as what your explained about?
well in that case its like an AGI DHan is no need to use melee scrolls or even ALM scrolls for pvp and he can kill anyone fast even without a scroll plus imagine when using their ulti skill lvl 7, (another 100% additional crit damage in AoE), wow then it makes PWI sales to go down because I can advanced my Agi Dhan without spending $ to buy a melee and ALM scrolls to become annoying in pvp very good PWI unlike Temps before been nerfed for example, they need first to spend to pop up scroll set which makes them pain in the ass in pvp anytime, now I see why most everyone switched to dhan classes hehehe
@Pimoh enough with your math assumption dude, dont base your assumption with that crappy math of yours. 4k agi? Da**** where'd you get that 4k damage? Every true rohan gamers know's that some skill description ingame are broken. You dont need to rely on the skill text description, you need to test it ingame. Like for example Mortal Risings description say's you can deal 100% Critical damage on 1st attack and can vanish from monsters/players that are more than 8 levels, but didnt say there's a 30% Critical damage boost(hidden effect).
And uhmmm where'd you got that knowledge of 1/4 Invenom? Invenom deals half of the critical damage an Agi dhans. For example if your opponent doesnt have DamageDrops, Heroic Power an Agi dhan deals 60k critical + 30k Critical so if the opponent has 50%Damage Drops + 25% Heroic Power the agi dhan damage will be 7500 critical + 30k Invenoms.
Level 7 Katar Mastery of AGI DHANS adds to their critical damage
Level 7 Katar Mastery of Agi Predators: 70% of Agi as Added Damage and 15% Boost in Critical Rate
Level 7 Katar Mastery of Agi Avengers: 30% of Agi as Added Damage
Thats why Agi Predators does more critical damage compared to an Agi Avengers which deals half of the Agi Predator's Crit. For Example an Agi Predator does 20k criticals + 30k invenoms, an Agi Avenger's crit will do 10k criticals + 10k invenoms
What kind of boosted animal are you, you're just as dense as hjinm and borjuce. What happened to the rohan players that actually knew how this game works, I guess everyone who had some braincells left rohan and all that is left is a bunch of boosted bonobos and me, trying to argue with freaking apes lmao.
I don't know why I even try to still explain stuff to people when all I get back is people telling me it's wrong, why I made a guide for beginners/returning players with valuable knowledge in it but I just get dense crap back.
I'll just go back to full trollmode instead of at least trying to explain to people how things work.
FIY: Idk who told you the **** you're trying to say about katar mastery but in rohan the translation for damage usually refers to Melee attack(coz well the korean and USA gm's don't work together verry well and translate stuff wrongly), just like in this case. the added DAMAGE from agi in katar mastery is applied as MELEE ATTACK, it has literally nothing to do with your critical damage beside that a critical hit is build up out of: Melee damage + Induced critical damage from deadly blow + Invenom damage. All that katar mastery does is boost your critical rate(preds) and give you more melee attack (based on your % agi and based on your katars base melee damage). try casting katar mastery with and without using Avoid and you'll see the difference in melee(coz your agi gets more/less).
I'm done explaining stuff because no matter what I say the group of bonobos on this forum will tell me it's wrong anyway, just like zhen mastery or issues with other skills.
I'd say, have fun figguring out how stuff works and screwing your builds up(coz there's a lot of things that are different from how they are mentioned), I'll farm your tears when I pk you with my chars who are actually build with knowledge of the concepts that lie behind the skills.
I'm done, I'll watch you apes struggle and lulz about it
~~ Peace ~~ (for now huehuehuehue)
I haven't tried playing Dekans before, but based from my experience (which is not a lot), most enemies (especially in PVP situations), have lower Magic Defense. Most of them dudes I encounter have higher Physical Defense than Magic Defense.
So if you pick Magic Zhen, you'll have more Magic Damage, but your auto-attacks will suffer a little. The reverse goes for the Melee Zhen.
The choice is yours, though. Hope I helped.
No offense to the other guys, but I find Sniper's advice more helpful. Still, it's up to the TS which one he will listen to.
Just go full vit with HP weapons on every class like Hjinm said, it gives you PRO HP, CANNOTDIE KKK
https://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/23450165.jpg
And all that thread is usless... info only you can get here is that PROOF snipers334 is a little boy retard who knows nothing for game but can shoot in back like a pro and have big mouth full with... at your opinion hahaha
Seems i`m onlyone who testing here all classes and skills... :) Can say you all are bad choice... for now working only agi dhans, guards, and dk full vit... all other classes sucks water... just tested savage with upgrade duals and evrything max... do like 30k dmg in pve... if you steal alot buffs you can do 200 000 aoe critikals... aand still 40k normal dmg... so better stop argue game is BROKEN!!! and gamemasters need fix it cos all gear all skills are usless right now :(
Yea only these classes are pro agi dhans, guards, and dk full vit... all other classes sucks water.
Rumirs are the worst class in game and so are noirs they are REALLY BAD, no damage, no sustain, no support, no cc. absolutely terrible!
Also Savages are really bad, I mean have you seen Hector at PA he deals like no damage at all right, really bad class too.
I think the solution to balance rohan is to delete all classes and builds beside agi dhans, guards, and dk full vit... all other classes sucks water anyway right, they don't drink water no they suck it.
Sarkasum? How i said: you`r retard :) Yeah Savage is broken i JUST TEST IT!!! for Trinity i dont wanna talk there all is ... terrible... for rumir you need 80 dd axe nobody sell... att speed is soo slow, lag, frozen and glich buffs... Noir have 15 sec life then get droped by agi dhan, guard and dv full vit... in 2 sec.... specially by guard cos he acumulate dmg on Noir.... and when buff gone Noir absorb like 100k dmg in moment... and hug the floor....i can make a book with problems of evry class and second book with problems when you using HK with them so pall go put your crossbow somwhere in your body where never sun see :D and make another PRO video to lie lamers in game... you can say NOTHINg to me... ;)
Time to derail some topics:
I'm KARL KING OF DUCKS KKKKKKK

Pro tip after reading all this thread salt included.
Any class works fine in PVE because of the boosts in skill and buffs. Yeah even as full bit build just remember that if you want to farm in the new dungeons you'll need to change to your actual status because you won't be able to survive there doesn't matter the gear you have. You'll still need pro gear to farm there so take note.
PvE wise you dont need pure attack, with inflated attack you'll be able to grind just fine.
PvP wise get as much pure attack as possible plus pro gear.
GL out there.
I've just reallized, that mobs in isen is stronger than in jainus @@ last year I have a scout in Jin, with glacial, twin dex vit, 2x dex ear/eye, bow 16 ad, and mobs at left vip hit me 1xx, here at isen, with glacial, bow 17ad, and chimera accessories (which is better than twin dex/vit), mobs hit me 3-4xx and crit 1k+. Really YNK? I loled =)
and hey, finally my DS reach 109 and all neccessary skill lvl 6, I will test with magic and melee weap right after the maintance, wait for latest news guys xD
So guys, I tested with magic charr and melee charr, my DS lvl 109, all neccessary skill lvl6, explorer title +10 all, kasa talisman +15 all, with alm7 from priest and rumir, bear lvl2, chimera acc 440 int/vit 700 magic, chimera ear/eye 50 int/vit, chimera armor with 50 int in each pcs (250 int total), tested with upper left, here is the result (I dont know how to post images here so I just use words xD)
with 40% melee charr: I have 42k HP, 12k3 magic, 11k5 melee, normal dmg around 7k, zhen counter 16k, wffs 32k
with 45% magic charr: still 42k HP, 16k6 magic, 8k6 melee, normal dmg around 6k, zhen counter 13k, wffs 38k
so I think with my char still noob, the differences is not too large, but with higher gears and lvl, title, etc, the differences must be higher, and melee charr gives better dps, since you use chimera weap with atk spd stones on it, better for farming, magic char gives higher skill dmg, used for pvp
and one more thing, to snipper, I tried to check the old mastery method, it's not work xD I equiped magic charr, all buff activated, got 16k6 magic and 8k6 melee, like above, then I switched to melee charr, the melee jump to 11k5 and magic to 12k3 xD
and if you cast blue int AFTER zhen mastery, the melee is a bit lower FOR 2 SECONDS, then it jumps to the melee exactly when you cast blue int BEFORE zhen mastery xD
btw thx a lot you guys for leaving me advises here, especially Hjinm and Sniper :x
Since you've been nice and tested everything here's an (almost) serious reply/advice:
Wonder if lvl 7 zhen mastery changes your conversion rate, I'll test this myself with a maxed out sage later on (not sure if the 0.X changes)
Let me elaborate further on how zhen mastery works for ya
https://media.giphy.com/media/4nRiHFFTzmJZC/giphy.gif
To zhen mastery, there are 3 stages:
1. Zhen mastery Intel multiplier checks your intel (passive, once when cast)
2. Zhen mastery checks your magic attack (Active aura checking all the time)
3. Zhen mastery uses a formula like (intel multiplier * 0.X * Magic attack = Melee attack) to convert magic = melee attack
As you said it's not possible to change from a magic to melee zhen and inflate your melee that way because it's an active aura, HOWEVER if you boost your intel with temporary buffs (like Group alm etc.) you can increase your intel multiplier and ''fake'' more intel than you have, which results in a higher melee attack even after those buffs are gone. I've tested this hypothesis and it works, last time I wasn't 100% sure about how zhen mastery works but I'm now. So if you feel like rpking some, buff up, stack intel buffs, use zhen mastery, quit party and there you go, free melee.
Thanks for not being a retarded troll and actually going out there and seriously testing this. If you need help in the future let me know.
This post is very helpful to me as I'm playing GodlyEris in Battle of the Gods Event. I just hope that more players would come to this event to have some fun and so I can also thoroughly test Sniper's advice. Learning ROHAN is really fun. Don't worry guys I'm also learning the other Fallen Gods. ;D
