Staff is always the worst weapon.
Dagger is the superior weapon when all the mobs are melee.
Dagger is the superior weapon when you want to deal damage.
A melee weapon is better when you want to pvp support (less chance to wake people up like there is with the super slow staff attack speed).
A dagger has better resale value can be used on ALL races like wtf would you want a staff for?

The archer uses bow and magician uses staff
The staff should be very powerful for a magician, not for a ranger, and to achieve:
* replace a dagger in battle,
* be much stronger than a mace + shield for a magician
* have great damage against warriors and archers
This is a Staff, the ideal weapon for magicians
so do not come with words so foolish as to say that a staff is the worst weapon and the dagger is the best because it really sound too silly. (best for a murderer)
The weapon was made to serve a race or class,
The weapon should not decide which class or race serve

You are confused with the English terms "can" and "must".
If what you say is true, TEMPLARS must use a staff. They are a magic attack class, right? So Why then do they use a melee weapon like a mace or club?
It appears your argument is now horribly broken because here is a magic class that needs to use a melee weapon to be most effective. A templar would completely and utterly FAIL if it uses a magic class weapon --- the STAFF.
Do not assume that the usual weapon used by a specific class such as dark elves is necessarily its ONLY choice. A priest with an HP + MANA sword is every bit as effective as one that uses a staff or wand. A strength dhan can be very effective using a Dagger or a Sword even though Katars are the expected 'Dhan' weapon. Have you even gotten a beating from a str dekan in evolve mode using a high attack speed/high melee DAGGER and Fast Shadow? You would die very, very fast.
Every player uses what they want to use and what their class ALLOWS them to use. There is no "MUST". There is only "DO".
Katars are trash because sword mastery can be buffed on other classes saving you 5 points on your dhan that you would have put into katar mastery. The wizz staff mastery gets no secondary bonus worth having (the warlock staff mastery gives 20% attack speed) for psy wizzies its better to use a dagger than a staff but int wizzies can use a staff and so can warlocks (if you wana be like kadeem......)

The Templar is a special class of magician, so healers and magicians, summoners magicians, etc, etc. There are also magicians warriors called Templar".
The Templar is a war magicians, which uses a weapon warrior, in other games tuning using sword and shield.
Although the Templar uses mace, that right would use "mace club" to fight as all its stats indicate that for Templar, gives int, Psy and magic Ataq,

Players have been asking, begging for, screaming, threatening and finally quitting because YNK and PWI have done nothing to address this since this game opened in Spring 2008. Sure they made a couple adjustments in that time, but nothing that really fixed anything.
Don't hold your breath for any of that to happen sir. You can hold onto hope that they will wake up and fix this game for just so long before you finally throw up your hands and walk away.

Please don't respond by saying Ran is balanced. The only way Ran is balanced is if there are only 2 classes playing it -- templars and Dragon Knights. Any other class is hopelessly outgunned from the time it is rolled.

I wont call ran balanced by your standards but I will tell you that all the other classes do just fine. Especially if your goal is to win pvps instead of just be in a damage pissing contest. And templars are actually cheap compared to the bare minimum for an avenger or a guardian.Quote:

If Rohan korea *** 'no change anything, that does not mean that the game is good or users to be happy.
In Rohan korea*** people are not smarter than this server, we are as equally or more capable than them.
if GM does nothing to problems so obvious to our server for some reason will be, but I think many GM are aware of the lack of balance,
us users are suggesting changes to the game and help somehow to administrators.
If rohan korea *** not listening, I am quite sure that the GM of Rohan if they do, the proof are the new UPG and fusion of the servers.
So if you have any questions or suggestions must speak, maybe someday it corrected.
