Porting is easy. Open map, click on a bindstone. it will ask you if you want to port there and tells you how may crones it will cost. Porting to home town always is free.
WUT - i'm so nubish. Didn't know that.

Prices for porting are scaling with your lvl thou(at least seems so) paying 2k for porting from town to where i need to lvlup
