It seems PWi formerly YNK didn't have any idea on how to program a set of commands on a skill that did higher damage the closer the target got to the character so they decided that calling it Lvl7 110% melee damage boost was fair enough. Later in ~2011-2012 they decided that Scouts where never meant to be Melee users/fighters hell everyone had been telling them to fix Scouts for hell of a long time. Bow and Str one where bad like really bad so basically Sharp Melee came to be a Close range damage booster but from your total damage done. Still Scout suck until they added the Scatter Shot skill then Scouts story completely changed. Now they are bad but not useless :p
Great at farming and fun class if you ask me >.>

I prefer full str dekan and str dhan !! it was awesome on fighting and seen lots of str dekan even my friend use that build.

str dekan is viable if you can get str buffs and alm buffs to inflate your str/melee. with the self-buff-only changes going on, str dekan is no longer such a great build.

Even with buffs you're fully build on inflated melee, on a chars like guard that doesn't matter because (1) you have your own str buffs (2) you have a hell of a skillset to increase your damage output. Dekan doesn't have such a skillset, it's tanky, yes but it doesn't have a proper combo. if you'd ask me they should give dragon knight a skill like guards OS which accumulates your damage, this together with fast shadow(it could be a side-effect from Fast shadow) and other attackspeed buffs would make str dekan viable in pvp. you could even play a str dekan using 2 weapons, upg dagger for combo and zhen to use your skills, would make it fun to play (but expensive). Anyway just some ideas that will never happen lol....

DK with lv 7 fast shadow, dagger and evolved is hella fun to watch. As I used to call them - crazyfish.

Yup looks funny, is really funny to play too, problem is your dmg sucks coz its all based of inflated melee. If fast shadow would also accumulate damage it would make str dekans viable but not OP.

Completely crap build, you will have like 10% the melee attack of a templar with similar gear...
