After living 22nd years in this life
I draw the Will of my youth
Not that I have money or anything to donate
I've never been that smart
But I still have some great ideals
Fitting well though rather out of style
Whoever wants to have them can just come and get them
Especially the young people might still like them

To my little brother who really wants to study
I gladly leave the adress of my favorite pub
Where I drank too much to impress a woman
And afterwards got the beatings I asked for
And then I still have a bunch of female friends
Who're well-raised and very bright
and thus impossible to do something with
But maybe someone else can get them on their knees

For my nephew are my unfulfilled dreams
A bit childish perhaps but oh they are so deep
Because I was one of those kind of people
For whom luck always ran a bit faster
To my friends I'd like to leave the ability
to fall in love with a girl's smile
I sadly have been cheated on too much
But whoever wants to can still try

My sweathear, I leave you all the nights
In which i've shed so many tears of you being unfaithful
But remember this, I will wait patiently
Until it's my turn to smile when you're being misled
And the teacher who always said
'Little boy, you will end on the wrong track'
Can be pleased and needn't to get anything
Turns out he's been right all along

To my parents I leave the album with the pictures
That falsly testifies a happy youth
Though they don't testify for the threadbare talks
That raise a child in honor and virtue
Along with that they get all the silly items back
that taught me too much at the time
In the end they can't really force me
to grow up withotu deep remorse and regret

And then, I still have some good friends
But they have already had enough of me
So I allow them now the wage that they deserve
All the booze they stole froom me
Then there's nothing more but for just a few things
Which i'll keep because they're no good to anyone
Those are my childhood memories
Those you take with you for as long as you live
