Maybe try to turn off your anti virus programs and or any firewalls that you may have running. Sometimes this helps.

Thanks for the reply, but had already done it and it still does not work

mm sorry this didn't help, maybe try to re download the game but this time from a diffrent link on the dl page. Other then that, I don't know what else to suggest. Good Luck!
