how the Saturn V's engine, the F1, worked

The F1 engine harnessed the power of super heated gases at a rapid rate generates enormous expansion rate in the atoms as it's turbo and also cools the engine bell from overheating and melting. They didn't foresee the sharp turns after the boost created vacuum pockets where the gases whipped around. The vacuum pressure would whip it all at once and slap the other side. They added baffles that helped, but it would have been better to add screens before and after bends to prevent it and achieved a higher BAR.
