Upgrading Accessories & Weapons

i have been recently trying my hand at +ing all of my accessories and i noticed it has become a bit of a slog because the Abradants that they sell in the IM, you know the things you have to purchase if you dont want to blow your accessories up, Which cost $8 each dont protect the enhancement level so if i have a +6 and i fail the abradant protects the item from being destroyed, but the accessory drops back to +0 if youre going to ask me to spend that much money for each attempt for the peace of mind i'd expect you to at least respect my purchase enough to not set me back another 4 or 5 attempts.
