Need tips for a quick start after several years of not playing.

Basically, I just installed Rohan after more then a couple of years and I am looking for a few tips on what are the best things to get for a viable PVP character. I've read about the exp pouch that gets you to 100 straight away so I am willing to spend fair amount of $$ on neccessary gear.

Used to play a Guardian so I'd like to continue with it again but with those new patches I don't even know if they're worth it.

I'd appreciate if someone could enlighten me in quick few words.

Guardians are still good if you like their playstyle then go for it.

Meta chars right now:
Predators
Int Sages (with good gear)
Guardians (passable with mediocre gear)
Noirs (With good gear)
Vit dekans (passable with trash gear)
