Class Power Rankings

I think we should create a comprehensive list ranking all of the classes in overall usefulness (PVE and PVP). Please provide your input, as I have only leveled 4 classes so far. Some of this is based on my assumptions and I am interested to hear what you all think. I will update the list accordingly.

PvE
A Tier: Scout, Priest (essential to all parties), Defender
B Tier: Templar (I am assuming with aoe buff), Guard, Predator, Warlock
C Tier: Str DK, Ranger
D Tier: Avenger
F Tier: Int DS, Wizard


Currently not ranked:
Vit DK
Berserker
Savage


PvP
A Tier: Priest (essential to all parties), Guard, Warlock, Ranger, Avenger
B Tier: Scout
C Tier: Templar (we'll see about this)
D Tier: Defender

it's rather simple:

PVE you wanna build your pt like this:
- Priest 1-2x
- Scout 1-3x
- Predator 1-2x
- Defender 1x

- optional is to add a guard (crit + str buff)
- optional is to add temp but if you got $ spenders you can get hp abso stone yourself and won't need a temp

PVP:

Too early to tell but I think: Warlock/Dhans/Guards will deal the best dps and priest/vit defender and scout will be good supports (scout is supp and dmg dealer but i wouldnt be suprised to see full vit scouts in pvp)

What about rangers? Their base dmg seems pretty high if you ask me.

Indeed, plus silence etc. But yeah agreed.. full dex scout / 3-1 scout will be too squishy in PvP.

For Pve, Str-Dragon Sage is kinda nice. Since you have 75-100% Aoe Attacks, have decent tankiness and a Build in hp+mana absorb. would rate it either A or B Tier.

Since we have Zero Vit-Scaling on Skills opposite to IRohan i think Vit-Dk or Vit-Ds are kinda useless in pve, maybe good tanky option in Pvp where you can dishout okay dmg while still beeing full tank but mehhh wouldnt rate it to high.

Warlock soon here but so far I need a full vit accs on me to be able to survive anything, 46 current level as a mage and hp/mp coils are very useful, energy sphere deals way better damage than int beam so you can skip int beam. Wide encourage low cooldown is great just don't try it on more than 2 mobs qq
About weapon, just make sure it has high base damage when I mean base damage I mean take a staff over a wand always if you can get int and or vit in it even better but no stats at all works fine to.

I predict the ranger to become ranked much higher than scout in PvP environments due to silence shot and toxic potion, both of which are on low cooldowns, and the much higher per-hit damage and self-synergy with Death Chaser for massive nukes, especially given how low potion cooldowns are and how low health pools/defenses are. Scouts will probably reign supreme as the PvE AoE damage dealers, but we'll see how that holds over at the higher levels; they're definitely an expensive and difficult-to-survive-with class given how much mobs hurt right now. Managing being so outnumbered is just not really possible at the moment unless you have a whole party dedicated to keeping the scout up. But at that point I think you're just better off with a mix of other classes. If accuracy is resolved I'd suspect the scout to be a one-of for some group AoE and for dex-oriented builds from AoE alacrity, and I'd largely rule them out of competitive PvP groups as time progresses.

That said, I may have a scheme to make the scout a very potent PvP damage dealer. It will require some testing, but if things work as they did in R:BF (nothing indicates they won't as of now), it may very well be that the scout ends up easily out-damaging the ranger with this build in group PvP.

Just speculation, though. I think it's largely too early to tell as of yet. I haven't done too much PvP.

Int dekan is pretty bad, which is a shame.

Already have a vit scout in my guild who actually does pretty good in pvp as of now, even tho it's early into the game. But this is lvl 7x vs 8x

30 sec uptime 7 hit mirror
stoneskin+sprint
int shield
30 sec cd snatch so you can steal all the damage mitigation/hp skills from all the other classes
12 second uptime on break ability
300% damage aoe nuke that drops attack by 30%
500% int dot that cant be detoxed off
drain all stats by 200% enemy lvl
12 second uptime aoe root


Basically doesnt mater who you are I will kite you to death and you will die 1st.
