GM Events : Player Appreciation Update - August 2, 2016
Greetings Rohanians!
As we continue towards our goal of providing our player's new and exciting content, we would like to introduce the following changes made to our event system, and events themselves!
Event Timing
Our old Event system was put in place a long time ago and was starting to feel out of date. Events were scheduled throughout the month, but without a pattern or a proper prize structure in place. Our solution to our player's request for better prizing is now being addressed with the updated Event system! Instead of having various events throughout the day randomly spaced throughout the month, we are now dividing our events into 2 different types; Daily and Weekly.
Daily Events
Daily Events are events that are hosted almost every day. The items won on these events are ones that feel much better than the old rewards, but are not so overpowered that we don't feel comfortable releasing them out in bulk to our players. Events of this frequency will be ones that players can feel good participating in OR winning without a a significant time investment into the event. With this content update; there are only 2 Daily Events scheduled for now, but new ones will be introduced in time and cycled with the current daily events, always providing new opportunities for our players to win some great and FREE stuff!
Weekly Events
Weekly events are going to be events that are hosted twice a day, once a week. These are going to be events that happen less frequently than Daily events, but will have an improved prize pool to compensate for their increased rarity. These events will also feature more unique mechanics than before, with them testing and pushing our players to new and different experiences in the event system. There are currently 3 Weekly events scheduled for the time being, with even more being developed and worked on; there will be plenty of variety and exciting prizes to keep our players engaged and satisfied. Again, these events are completely FREE, and just require your participation to enjoy!
Event Changes
With the events being upgraded and tweaked, there have been various changes and updates made to the Events and their prizing structure.
Event Name:Last Man Standing → Battle Royale
Event Frequency: Daily
New Event Prizing:
First Place:Badge of Victory x1
Random Box - Roha x1
Sacred Heart's Blessing(Medium) x1
Participation:Badge of Bravery x1
Synopsis: The New Battle Royale Event is the old Last Man Standing event with better prizes! A group of up to 30 other players fight to the death in the arena to win exciting and powerful prizes!

Event Name: Mystery Chest event → Golden Chest Event
Event Frequency: Daily
New Event Prizing:
First Place: Golden Armored Kruger (7 Days) x1
Golden Monkey (7 Days) x1
Sacred Heart's Blessing(Medium) x1
Participation: Sealed Hunter Kit (8 hrs) x1
Event Changes:
Maximum amount of Players increased from 10 → 15
Maximum amount of Winners increased from 2 → 3
Synopsis: The New Golden Chest Event is the old Mystery Chest event with minor aesthetic changes and significantly better prizes. A group of up to 15 players all choose whichever Golden Chest they think is lucky, and 3 of those players will win the great first prizes!

Removal of "EZ" Questions
Synopsis: Quiz Quiz is back with new and improved prizes! Players have 5 seconds to answer trivia questions, with the the players getting questions right continuing to the next round, while the players who answer wrong get kicked out! Will you make it to the end and win some great new prizes?

Synopsis: The Chaos Summon Event has been a player favorite for a while, but it was time to be updated! Instead of randomly spawning monsters outside of Limestone, this event has now been given a designated area and purpose! Now taking place at the Traitor's Guillotine area in Del Lagos, players must work together to kill waves of monsters to spawn enemy bosses! As players continue fighting their way through harder and harder waves of enemies, more and more bosses will spawn. How far will our players be able to get!?

Here's the boost schedule:
12AM schedule: Boost starts at 1:30AM PDT and ends at 4:30AM PDT
5PM schedule: Boost starts at 6:30PM PDT and ends at 9:30PM PDT
Synopsis: The old Hephasto Event was getting a little stale for our veteran players, so we have completely redone most of the event! Now, instead of fighting a boss and then the various minions spawned after killing it, players will be assaulting the Bothan Penitentiary area south of Limestone Foothill in an attempt to stop these new gods from getting a foothold on R.O.H.A.N.! Players will wait for the event to start on the 2 bridges allowing access into the area, and will need to fight through the various boss monsters and guards on their way into the innermost stronghold where the boss resides. It will take a group of your friends to take down the boss, and don't underestimate your enemies! With the ability to summon more guards, and with dramatically increased stats from Hephasto, these new Gods mean business! It will take a coordinated effort from you and your friends to defeat these powerful new threats to the R.O.H.A.N. world!

Our players are very important to us, and constantly providing them with better and funner online experiences is what we are striving for. Wanting to switch things up from how they were in the past, these new events should help facilitate the needs and wants of the players. We have made it easier to get Badges of Bravery, EXP Boosts and other items our players have been asking for for some time now. We also wanted to make the events feel more exciting and interactive; with increased GM participation, it will feel more like our players are playing with the GM's leading the event, versus just participating in one. As our players reach higher and higher power levels, we have also increased the difficulty of the events; The new replacements for Hephasto the Slaying God are at least 10x stronger than Hephasto ever was!
