The problem is not with town war itself but with the mentality of being one of two sides.
In my 6 years playing rohan I have only seen 4 town wars where there was more than 2 guilds capturing strongholds (consistently not a lock dhan getting some gp). Previously guild skills costed more (not the case anymore its 75 cents for 10 gs and you need 15 to cast kings 3 times). Previously boss drops were of such importance that only two guilds could fight over them (not the case nearly as much now where the reinforcement is more important than the ring). But still even with these restraints gone players cant give up on the one of two sides mentality and try to win for themselves. I mean fk sprints are common from CV (blunt santas maybe gonna make a comeback on next maint as well), GS is cheap as **** ($2.25 will get you 30 gs or enough for 2 tsbs) almost all classes have enough damage and attack speed to take down strongholds, characters are cheap (so you can still attend clashing valley with your main after winning tsb with your alt temp) its a mentality problem and ofc crones are super inflated with the ph rohan merge.
