me too.... I am stuck on the same thing. I have the mysterious stone but tipharet wont take it and tell me to go southern fortress, nor give me a new quest to make the necklace..... anybody can please help??? I feel we are missing a step in the wiki.
I assume you've completed the Blue Eye's Dungeon quest, that's why Tipareth isn't letting you complete the quest for the necklace. It happened to me too until I figured it out. As far as I know, once you've finished the Blue Eye's Dungeon, you're only going to get "Go to the Southern Fortress" dialog from Tipareth.
oooh.... I did only start the Blue Eye quest, but not complete. I guess that counts. I should of returned the stone to Tipareth before I started the quest I guess :(
